2nd suspect in North Memphis vehicle wash taking pictures captured in GA

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The U.S. Marshals have arrested a different man they say was involved in the taking pictures that killed a relative of a community activist at a car or truck wash in North Memphis past 12 months.

Authorities say agents arrested Jarqueaz Mallory at a hotel in Stockbridge, Ga exterior of Atlanta Friday early morning.

Mallory was wanted for the capturing dying of 17-yr-previous Braylon Murray. Braylon was shot to demise at a motor vehicle clean on North Hollywood Avenue in close proximity to Chelsea Avenue on Aug. 3, 2021.

The U.S. Marshals captured one more suspect a few months back soon after they took on the scenario on Nov. 4th.

Braylon’s grandmother Sarah Carpenter, who operates with local education group Memphis Raise, spoke with WREG just after her grandson’s loss of life.

“Braylon was just like this significant outdated teddy bear,” Carpenter reported. “He stood about 6 foot. He was a significant man but he was a newborn. I never care how previous kids get, to their grandparents which is even now your baby.”

Mallory is getting billed with first-diploma murder.
