Bicyclist dies right after staying hit by vehicle in Missoula

MISSOULA – Just one individual has died following a crash involving a bicycle and car or truck in Missoula Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred all around 2 p.m. in the vicinity of the intersection of Orange Street and South 3rd Street West.

MISSOULA – The Missoula Police Department is investigating a deadly incident that is blocking component of the southbound lanes of Orange Road at South 3rd Street West.

Missoula PD experiences the accident included a vehicle and a bicycle.

Missoula Law enforcement Section spokeswoman Lydia Arnold tells MTN News the bicyclist passed absent and an investigation is continuing.

The lethal accident was documented soon just after 1:45 p.m.

According to an MPD social media submit, the “parties included are cooperating with the police investigation.”

Orange Road is now open to a one lane of targeted visitors southbound and a one lane northbound.

Also, eastbound targeted visitors on South 3rd Road West is staying diverted at Cottonwood Avenue.
