GREENBRIER, Tenn. (WSMV) – A male faces several charges right after allegedly crashing his automobile into an O’Reilly Auto Areas Monday and fleeing the scene.
According to Smokey Barn News, the incident transpired about 12:30 p.m. at the shop located at 2267 Freeway 41 South.
Police informed SBN that as the driver fled the scene, witnesses captured a partial plate number that led officers to a house the suspect supposedly experienced been home sitting down.
Police informed SBN the suspect, determined as 65-calendar year-aged Mcgill Smith of Minimal Rock, Arkansas, furthermore struck a car and a mild pole on his way residence.
SBN reported that Smith confessed to crashing his gray F150 pickup into O’Reilly’s and currently being less than the impact. Robertson County EMS explained to SBN Smith was transported from his property to TriStar NorthCrest Health-related Centre in Springfield with non-existence threatening accidents.
Smith is now struggling with DUI rates and four counts of Reckless Endangerment due to there remaining two shoppers and two staff inside the retail outlet at the time of effect. His bond has been established at $13,500.
