Two lifeless just after vehicle flips in Northway crash

SARATOGA SPRINGS — A driver and passenger are dead right after their motor vehicle swerved off the Northway Thursday, State Law enforcement said Friday.
Paula M. Ashline, 50, of Hudson Falls, was driving a 2020 Toyota Tacoma southbound in the still left lane when she lost management of the truck, which strike a tree and a ditch and flipped about, troopers reported.
The crash transpired at about 4 p.m., in Saratoga Springs, according to law enforcement.
Ashline and her passenger, 34-12 months-previous Nicole M. Thaxton, also of Hudson Falls, had been declared useless at the scene.
Ashline in the previous has worked as a housekeeper at the Landmark Motor Lodge Inn in South Glens Falls. The motel’s former owner John Naja named her “a great soul.”
“She was a extremely honest, hardworking specific. She was quite handy and a amazing employee,” Naja reported. “We are so brokenhearted for her family members.”
The cause of the crash is below investigation, troopers said.
